ADVISORY BOARD
Advisory Board is a team made up of last year’s members of the Board of Directors of the organization. Their role is reflected in the mentoring work with this year’s Board of Directors and they have an advisory function when making decisions. Also, they are in charge of managing the organization’s alumni network, as well as organizing all activities and events related to it.

Sara Oluić, Advisory board member
Sara is a student at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, majoring in general management. During Faculty, she fell in love with volunteerism and became a member of two students and one youth organization. In World Youth Wave she was a member of the PR team, the HR team, and the presidency with Jelena Milošević. For herself, she considers that ISWiB marked her life. She is a big adventurer, so you will often find her outside her comfort zone. Her current interests are project management and the organization of special events.

Jelena Milošević, Advisory board member
Jelena is a management student who likes to organize gatherings and events and meeting other people from all over the world. That is exactly why ISWiB, which World Youth Wave organizes, is something that has fulfilled her. She was in HR for 2 years, and in 2021/2022 she was the president of the organization, together with Sara Oluić. Her motto in the organizational world is: “We are all participants in the event, even if we are the organizers, so we must not forget to enjoy every moment.” Part of her personality is the color blue, and she promises to the whole world that one day she will be best friends with Miley Cyrus, and you have to believe it. She is a big film enthusiast and her wish is to become a director one day, even though she isn’t working on that dream at the moment. ISWiB will be mentioned at the Oscars in 2026, so stay tuned.

Jelena Nikolić, Advisory board member
Jelena is 25 years old and she studies Operations Management at Faculty of Organizational Sciences. Her volunteering experience began in 2018 on ISWiB, and she has been a member of World Youth Wave for 4 years now. Through volunteering she met many friends from all around the world, and it also taught her what it means to be part of a working group that functions as a family. She likes to spend her free time binge watching series and anime, or going out for a beer with her friends.

Matija Simović, Advisory board member
Matija Simović is a Graphic, Web and Brand Strategist originally from Serbia. He has graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, module Graphic Design. As a young designer, he has won numerous awards and has had exhibitions in Serbia and abroad. After years of exploring the fields of design and business, he has devoted hisself to the visual branding industry, where he can maximise his strengths and experience in both design and business. He has worked for Birra Moretti, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, University of Arts in Belgrade, Star Bet, Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Theatre Atelje 212, MPC Properties, Goša FOM a.d. etc.

Katarina Rajković, Advisory board member
Her real name is Katarina, but you will often hear Rajka, Raja, Rajkic, etc… Katarina is 24 years old and she completed her bachelor and master studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade. She is currently employed at Henkel and works in marketing. Katarina is active in “extracurricular” activities and likes to spend her time working with people, meeting new people and socializing. She is a big nature lover, likes to go on fieldtrips, hiking and traveling. The first time she rncounterd World Youth Wave was in 2019 (a long time ago) when she volunteered for the first time at the International Student Week in Belgrade (ISViB). Unfortunately, the festival ended very early for her because she had to have surgery on her torn ligaments in her knee (sad smiley). However, that didn’t stop her from apply to be part of the organizational team that same year and staying with the team to this day (in several different shapes and forms) Raya Papaya loves these people and the energy they create together, and she can’t wait to pass it on to all of you at ISVIB – in 2023!
