PARTICIPANTS
ISWiB participants are young people who are communicative, motivated to make a change, want to share their opinion and ideas for a better world, and are willing to spend eight amazing days in our capital city, with other young people from all over the globe, sharing a variety of experiences. If you see yourself between those lines, apply and join us in Belgrade this summer!
Summer is closer than you think. Want this summer to be the best ever? Do you want to travel, to have a good time, to go to the wildest parties, meet a lot of people and learn something new – you’re in the right place. If you are communicative, open to new acquaintances, tolerant, intrigued by social problems and would love for people to learn more about your country – you’re in the right place. Are you willing to spend eight days with other young people from all over the globe and work with them on a variety of problems?
We invite not only students from all faculties, but also recent graduates to show their skills and knowledge! Get out of your comfort zone and apply! Don’t miss your life-time experience, grab your seat at International Student Week in Belgrade, and we will take care of everything else. See you!
ACCOMMODATION
During recent festivals, participants were accommodated in a student dormitory “Petar Drapšin” which is located near the city centre, in street Kralja Petra no. 83 in Belgrade. Because of its beauty, the dormitory was proclaimed a national cultural monument. It was renewed in 2009 and therefore is modernly equipped. Rooms are with 4 or 6 beds, with separate bathrooms. There is also a kitchen with the dining room where participants are served three meals per day.
City centre (Knez Mihailova street, the main promenade in Belgrade) is just a 10-minute walk away (around 300 m). The nearest shop and bakery are in front of the dorm, and the nearest pharmacy is next to the dorm. The nearest bus and tram stop are in the street Cara Dušana (buses 24, 26 and 79, trams 2, 5 and 10). The dormitory has no free parking space.
Here at ISWiB, our goal is to give you a chance to experience the multiculturalism in the best possible manner, while located at the heart of Serbian capital!
You cannot be accommodated before the arrival day of the festival and after the last day (for ISWiB 2023: You cannot be accommodated before July 16th and after July 24th; July 24th is the departure day).
