SUSTAINABLE ART - THE WORLD IS A CANVAS

Art is not what you see, but what you make others see. – Edgar Degas

EDU IT-08

What is sustainable art, how is it defined, and who is making it?

Sustainable art can be simply defined in two different ways: discovering new methods to make art that can benefit the environment and not pollute it, and inspiring social awareness on sustainability by motivating society to start using accessible and natural materials for their creations.

Do you want to create something that will convey a powerful message, and be beneficial for the environment?

If you want to learn how to help protect, enlighten and educate yourself and others about art and environment by creating, this is the workshop for you.  You will have the chance to make art from sustainable materials and methods such as making your own eco-friendly paint, creating mosaics from used plastic, sculptures from used or natural materials and much more.

Join us and explore your artistic abilities through a sustainable challenge!
